What is Mymba Rayhu?Mymba Rayhu, which translates to "animal love" in English, was a youth-led initiative that aimed to improve the lives of stray dogs while raising awareness of the importance of recycling.
*Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently in a gap year. We hope to be back soon! |
PILLARS OF FOCUS
Here is what we do to achieve our goals:
We build shelters with totally recycled materials (plastic bottles and milk containers) for abandoned dogs.
|
We organize #MymbaKids at schools and local libraries where through dynamic activities like making posters and recycled crafts, we teach children how to become agents of change in their communities and create awareness about the damaging impact of plastic on our environment and the importance of caring for animals.
|
We also carry out campaigns as a way to raise awareness about the plastic pollution and animal abuse
